ABOUT THE SAT

The SAT is used by U.S. colleges and universities to determine admissions and to award scholarships and grants. This test is divided into three sections that contain the following: Critical Reading, Math (Algebra II) and Writing skills.

Your will earn the score anywhere from 200- 800 on each section. The highest overall score you can receive is 2400. An average score for each section is 500.

The test is given seven times a year and last 3 hours and 45 minutes.
